Description

A Home Care Visiting RN provides safe, holistic care to a population with multiple co-morbidities and advanced chronic illnesses.  The RN educates regarding self-management and provides support to meet the needs of the patient, family, and community.

Ability to perform Essential Functions as well as physical requirements of Position.

Competent to safely and independently perform and/or provide patient education where applicable to/on the following:

  • Wound Care, including Wound V.A.C.
  • Hand Hygiene
  • Blood Glucose Testing
  • Basic Lift
  • Mechanical Lift
  • Medication Reconciliation
  • Experience/Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record
  • Working knowledge of home care regulation, eligibility, and best practices

PREFERRED, BUT NOT REQUIRED:

  • Pleurx and Pleural Catheter
  • Pleural Drainage
  • Timed Up and Go (T.U.G.) testing
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Auto insurance, vehicle and valid driver's license required for all qualified candidates!

  • Minimum of 1 year of home care experience – REQUIRED
  • Home Care Home Base and OASIS – REQUIRED
  • Copy of Driver’s License and auto insurance included with submission – REQUIRED
  • BLS (AHA or ARC) - REQUIRED
  • COVID test required before starting assignment UNLESS already fully vaccinated
  • Prior travel experience – Preferred
