Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8-hour day shift, no call
Details:
- Specialties that will be Considered: NP/PA with neuro-trauma and/or neuro-critical care background/experience
- Trauma Level/Designation: Level II Trauma Center
- Average Number of ICU Patients per Provider per day: 15-20 patients on service per day
- EMR system details: Cerner Care B
- Required Procedures:
Low/moderate risk procedures such as laceration repair, IV access/IV insertion-peripheral line, fracture and dislocation reductions (minimal/moderate displacement). High risk procedures: G-tube placement, endotracheal intubation, cardioversion/defibrillation, LMA, paracentesis, chest tubes, central and arterial line placement.
- Other Details of Role: (anything else Provider should consider or that should be asked prior to presenting) Provider must be current AHP staff status at a TJC-accredited facility, with unrestricted privileges in the assignment specialty area (i.e., critical care, neuro, or trauma)
-ACLS, ATLS, DEA - REQUIRED
- Estimated Credentialing Time Frame: 30-60 days from receipt of FULLY completed application
- Will Provider need to obtain only clinic privileges or both clinic and hospital privileges? Hospital privileges only. Trauma/Neuro follow-up clinic is held in hospital.
-Neurosurgery/Trauma ICU management of emergency surgery patients that are brain, neck, and spine surgeries.
Requirements:
Current ANCC/AANP (NP) or NCCPA (PA) certified – Required
Current/Active CA NP or PA license. If NP, must have CA NP furnishing number – Required
ACLS, ATLS, DEA – Required
Availability at time of name clear – Required
-Clean Malpractice / Background - Required for credentialing
-Local, No flights - HIGHLY PREFERRED
Presentation submission requirements
- Include an up-to-date CV, which shall include:
- Scope of practice in CV job history section for each job.
- Explain gaps on CV (30-day or larger gaps)
- Copy of Board Certification(s)- If board eligible (List if Candidate is within 5-years of residency?)
- Submit a copy of clean Sex Offender search- include screen shot - https://www.nsopw.gov/?AspxAutoDetectCookieSupport=1
- Supporting certifications such as DEA, BLS, ACLS, ATLS, NRP, PALS
- Procedures provider is comfortable performing: (For Inpatient Services)
- Copy of state license active status. If provider’s license is in any other state besides Active, speak to Account Manager before presenting
- If obtaining a new state license for provider- detail where in the process the provider is currently
- Other Active State License(s)- list the state, license number and status
- Disciplinary Actions: (Must provide detailed explanation with presentation)
- Malpractice History- supporting documentation·
