Description

  • Ongoing starting this Fall
  • Practice setting: high volume inpatient heart center
  • Schedule: variable- 8,10,12 hour shifts
  • Call Schedule: in house call, with 2nd, 3rd, and 4th on call, when in house call they need to stay in the hospital overnight, with post call day off
  • Call Ratio: 1:6
  • Average Number of Surgical Cases Per Day: Cardiac Cases per day- 6-8 cases
  • Will NOT be required to supervise CRNAs
  • 6 Cardiac Anesthesiologists in the practice
  • Patient demographic: primarily adult and geriatric- some child
  • Number of Operating Rooms: 30
  • ECMO Certification, will look at experience
  • Credentialing can be completed in 2-3 weeks
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
  • Board Certified or Truly Eligible in Cardiac Anesthesia - REQUIRED
  • Fellowship- REQUIRED 
  • NY License - preferred 
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS- REQUIRED 
  • ECMO Certification, will look at experience
  • Facility will pay all travel
