St. Peter’s Health Partners is seeking to recruit a full-time Outpatient Adult Psychiatrist on behalf of Ellis Hospital located in Schenectady, NY. The Ellis Psychiatry program has been helping people overcome mental illness for more than 50 years and offering specialized services for adults, children, and adolescents.Job Description:The Psychiatrist will provide outpatient coverage for adult patients at the Outpatient Mental Health ClinicPosition hours are Mon-Fri, 8 hour shifts;Call Rotation: Weekends – 1 weekend per month; Nights: Rotating CallApplicants should possess excellent clinical skills, communication skills, and a strong commitment to providing care that is team orientedExperienced candidates are preferred, but also accepting recent graduates working toward BCNot open to telemedicineNot accepting visa candidatesNot accepting Locums candidatesCompensation and Benefits:Compensation Range:  $255,000 - $310,000 - The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. In addition, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits offered by their medical group employer. Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with State law and is subject to variation due to the factors noted above.Starting Bonus (to be discussed at interview)Relocation Allowance, if applicable -- The amount is determined by the distance they are moving from to the facility. Experienced providers - PREFERRED*Client cannot clear local candidates within 30 miles of their institutions.*
