Description

Job Description:

  • A full-time position is 7.5 24-hour in-house shifts/month = 2190 hours annually
  • Will consider someone who wants to work a minimum of 6 24-hourshifts/month (still benefit eligible)
  • Responsibilities include delivery attendance, OB triage, patient evaluation/management, surgical assists, fetal monitoring and ER coverage
  • MFM performs rounds and inpatient consults with high risk patients
  • Practice attends about 60 deliveries per month
  • 30-bed community Level-III NICU/newborns 23 weeks and above
  • Affiliated maternal-fetal medicine and neonatology practice support
  • 387-bed tertiary acute care facility and is the only Level I Trauma Center in Coachella Valley, serving more than 8,000 square miles of Southeastern California
  • Teaching opportunities with fellows, residents and medical students.
  • This is a permanent, full-time position that requires residency within the immediate local area.  Relocation may be required.

Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in OB/GYN - REQUIRED

CA license (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED

OB Hospitalist work experience - PREFERRED
