Description

Job Description:

  • Candidates must be Board Eligible (with plans to become BC within 1 year of employment) or Board Certified in Family Medicine AND OB Fellowship-trained (fellowship must be completed prior to start).
  • Must be able to perform C-sections
  • Excellent work life balance supporting quality family time.
  • Call Schedule: 1:4 - predictable and non-burdensome call schedule.
  • Offering supporting medical staff representing urology, podiatry, surgery, cardiology, radiation oncology and hospitalists. All services located in the hospital for convenient access and coordinated care.
  • 3 clinic rooms and a procedure room
  • State-of-the-art ultrasound equipment on site
  • Staff includes 1-2 clinical staff members and a receptionist
  • 1 Board Certified Gynecologist on staff in the building, 2 OB nurse practitioners, and 1 FP/OB Physician also on site.
  • 12 Family Practice providers on site
  • How Many APPs Provide Coverage:  2
  • Total Number of Beds: 7 LDRP
  • Average Number of Scheduled Patients Per Day:  varies with provider
  • What Percentage of Practice is Low Risk Pregnancy:  50-60%
  • What Percentage of Practice is High Risk Pregnancy: 30-40%
  • What Percentage of Patients are C-Section:  5-10%
  • Average Number of Nursery Admissions Per Day: 1-2
  • Nursery Level (I, II, III):  1
  • What Percentage of Practice is GYN: low
  • Average Number of GYN Surgeries Per Day (If Applicable): N/A
  • Documentation System/EMR:  Cerner in hospital, eclinical works in clinic
  • Estimated Credentialing Timeframe:  45-90 days
  • Accepting recent/upcoming OB Fellowship graduates who are BE (must have plans to be BC within 1 year of employment) or BC in Family Medicine
  • Not accepting Locums candidates
  • Not accepting visa candidates
  • Cannot accept providers who have any malpractice cases that are in Probate or that require supervision.  Clean malpractice is preferred.

Clean Malpractice - PREFERRED
