Perm – Nurse Practitioner – Psychiatry – Outpatient

Job Description:

• Seeking experienced Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (Across the Lifespan) Certification (PMHNP-BC)

• Samaritan Hospital, located in Troy, NY offers a comprehensive program in behavioral health that includes inpatient services across three units and a robust outpatient program located on the hospital campus.  An interdisciplinary team provides specialized care to meet the medical, psychiatric, and social needs of the patient.
• This opportunity is available for immediate placement and will join a team of Counselors, Therapists, Psychiatrists, Case Managers, and Nurse Practitioners in providing compassionate care to our patients. The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will work collaboratively with the outpatient Psychiatry team.
• Shifts are either M-F 8-hr days or 4-10s. Providers work 1 weekend per month covering inpatient with a physician with post call days off.
• Not accepting new graduate candidates - at least 1 year of NP Psych employment experience required
• Not accepting Locums candidates
• Client cannot clear local candidates within 30 miles of their institutions.

Board Certified PMHNP - REQUIRED

NY License (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED

At least 1 year of NP Psych employment experience (note in "Experience" field) - REQUIRED
