Description

The Provider Enrollment Coordinator facilitates the credentialing/re-credentialing process for all practitioners and non-BHS practitioners for Berkshire Health Systems.

  • The Credentialing Coordinator gathers and organizes practitioner information regarding specialty, education, state licensure, DEA registration, work history, practice detail, malpractice, hospital privileges, and other documentation as needed.
  • The Provider Enrollment Coordinator will complete and file all necessary forms, documents and contracts required by individual insurers that BHS participates with.
  • The provider Enrollment Coordinator works independently with regulatory agencies, insurers, hospitals, practitioners, and BHS employees so that providers are credentialed in a quick and efficient manner to ensure payment for services rendered.
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum of three years experience in either reimbursement, credentialing, and/or billing within a health care setting required.
  • High School Diploma required. Associates' Degree Preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to analyze and present data. Ability to plan, implement, and evaluate processes.
  • Self motivated.
  • Ability to manage deadlines.
  • Ability to prioritize and problem solve numerous tasks and demands.
  • Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Attends necessary meetings to complete job responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to read and follow written/verbal direction.
  • Demonstrated conflict resolution skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to fast paced multifaceted position.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong telephone skills.
  • Computer proficiency- Microsoft Office Products and provider enrollment software.
