Description
The Provider Enrollment Coordinator facilitates the credentialing/re-credentialing process for all practitioners and non-BHS practitioners for Berkshire Health Systems.
- The Credentialing Coordinator gathers and organizes practitioner information regarding specialty, education, state licensure, DEA registration, work history, practice detail, malpractice, hospital privileges, and other documentation as needed.
- The Provider Enrollment Coordinator will complete and file all necessary forms, documents and contracts required by individual insurers that BHS participates with.
- The provider Enrollment Coordinator works independently with regulatory agencies, insurers, hospitals, practitioners, and BHS employees so that providers are credentialed in a quick and efficient manner to ensure payment for services rendered.
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of three years experience in either reimbursement, credentialing, and/or billing within a health care setting required.
- High School Diploma required. Associates' Degree Preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to analyze and present data. Ability to plan, implement, and evaluate processes.
- Self motivated.
- Ability to manage deadlines.
- Ability to prioritize and problem solve numerous tasks and demands.
- Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information.
- Ability to work independently.
