St. Elizabeth Community Hospital is looking for a Hematology/Oncology Physicians to join!Bid Due Date: 9/3/24 5pm ESTRate Caps for Submission: Malpractice – Must be included in rates.Orientation - Kicks in after 8 hours. “Per hour of orientation or training beyond 8 hours” Daily - $5000 rate cap - "A flat rate for clinic coverage, to include Nightly Call"Nightly Call – INCLUDED IN THE DAILY RATE CAP OF $5000On Call (Daily) – 24hr remote call by phone - $1500 rate capNO CALL BACK. Provider is not called back in. Remotely called.Holiday – Must be 1.5x the hourly rate. “Per holiday hour, no OT” Schedule/Availability Requirements:Start Dates:Jan 16, 2025 FT everyday for 6 monthsSchedule: M-Th 7:00 AM-5:30PM with night call then 24hr remote call coverage Fri-SunFacility Location: Red Bluff, CASetting: Outpatient clinicFTE: 1.0 FTEDuties: All aspects of Diagnosis, Staging, Precision Medicine, symptom management, and Treatment of Hematology/ Oncology PatientsMD oversight for both the Oncology/Hematology clinic and Infusion ServicesInfusion Center requires MD onsite for all treatmentsInfusion Center provides Chemotherapy, Immunotherapy, Blood/Platelet transfusions, Hormone therapy, Antibiotic Therapy, Rheumatoid Arthritis injections, and Therapeutic Phlebotomies.  Required Procedures: N/A.  Bone Marrow Biopsies are referred to outside providerEMR: iKnowmed (Clinic) and Cerner (Infusion)Support Staff: 1- clinic RN, 2-MAs, 2-front office clerks, 1-quality analyst/billing, and 3 infusions RNs. Reason for Coverage: Locums one year is upTravel Preferences:Preferred Lodging: Red Bluff- Holiday Inn Express, or Hampton Inn & SuitesAir Travel: Local, Highly preferredCredentialing Information:Timeframe: 30-60 daysRequirements:  **MSO requires the application completed within 3 days of being confirmed despite the start date!!**Credentialing with other facilities - NoBilling enrollment - Is this position providing services in lieu of an existing enrolled provider for a period of 60 days or less? NoTravel Preferences (see attachment for specific travel guidelines):Preferred Lodging: Preferred hotels. In the event that the CommonSpirit Health preferred hotel is not available, hotel/lodging rates will be reimbursed based on actual expense, up to 1.5 times the current GSA rate for the market. https://www.gsa.gov/travel/plan-book/per-diem-ratesAir Travel: Local, preferred but not required. $750/round trip capRental Cars: $65/day all in cap (including taxes and fees) regardless of car class.Mileage: IRS Standard RatePlease detail any anticipated travel exceptions, for example a dietary restriction necessitating specific lodging situations. Travel exception requests will be denied if this information is not part of the provider presentation.  Please also indicate the city where provider will be traveling from in the travel section of the provider submission.Additional Details / Questions Answered by Facility:Average daily census: 15-21 patients Mon-Thurs with 3/4 of appointments going on the MD schedule.10 patients per day, 1-2 being new Current call coverage: 24/7 each week with around 5 calls per day7 infusion chairs

Board Certification – Oncology AND Hematology preferred. Will consider Board Eligible. CAN accept providers boarded in Oncology OR Hematology.CA State License - REQUIREDMedical Oncology Fellowship -REQUIREDCA DEA, BLS, ACLS - REQUIRED during credentialing Malpractice – Clean PreferredMust have FULL TIME availability – REQUIRED (List at time of name clear)
