Summary: St. Michael Medical Center is Looking for GASTROENTEROLOGY Hospital Coverage to perform procedures, provide inpatient rounding and consultationsStart Date: 2/15/2025-Locum will need to get oriented prior to Feb 15 when shift starts.Bid Due: 11/4RATES:Malpractice
– Must be included in rates. Orientation
– half the hourly/callback rate, kicks in after 8 hours. “Per hour of
orientation or training beyond 8 hours”Hourly – $541 - $560 - “Per hour, not OT”Holiday –
Must be 1.5x the regular rate. “Per holiday hour, no OT”Nightly Call

Locums who cannot provide 7 consecutive days/mo.  Travel Preferences (see attachment for specific travel guidelines):·         Preferred Lodging: none. In the event that the CommonSpirit Health preferred hotel is not available, hotel/lodging rates will be reimbursed based on actual expense, up to 1.5 times the current GSA rate for the market. https://www.gsa.gov/travel/plan-book/per-diem-rates·         Air Travel:  $750/round trip cap·         Rental Cars: $65/day all in cap (including taxes and fees) regardless of car class.·         Mileage: IRS Standard Rate·         Please detail any anticipated travel exceptions, for example a dietary restriction necessitating specific lodging situations. Travel exception requests will be denied if this information is not part of the provider presentation.  Please also indicate the city where provider will be traveling from in the travel section of the provider submission.Credentialing Information:Timeframe: as soon as possibleCertification Requirements:  none  Credentialing with other facilities?  no Emergency credentialing available? no  Additional Details / Questions Answered by Facility:Admissions per day, Patients/day, Types of cases, Disclosures that may need to be made, etc.First day info (Please include attachments) to be provided by onboarding teamAdditional Details / Questions Answered by Facility:Do they have an Anesthesiologist, or do they need to do conscious sedation?- They do a mix of both, primarily Anesthesia does MAC, occasional Nurse Conscious Sedation.Hospitalists (sound physicians) admits to inpatient and GI consults.
