Summary: MRMC is looking for a locum Gastroenterologist for clinic and scoping coverage during the day with night call during the week and 24 hour call on the weekends. BID DUE DATE: FIRST TO FILL!Rate Caps for Submission:Malpractice – Must be included in rates.Orientation – half the hourly/callback rate, kicks in after 8 hours. “Per hour of orientation or training beyond 8 hours”Hourly – $586 - $625 - “Per hour, not OT”Holiday – Must be 1.5x the regular rate. “Per holiday hour, no OT”Nightly Call – $581-$595 - “Per night call to hold the pager, to include 2.5 hours gratis”Holiday Nightly Call - $871.50-$892.50 - "Per night call to hold the pager, to include 2.5 hours gratis”On Call (Daily) – $3,501 - $4,800 - “Per 24 hours to include 4 hours gratis"24 Hour Holiday Call Rate  –  $5,251.50- $7,200 - “Per 24 hours to include 4 hours gratis"Call Back – $586 - $625 - “Per hour of patient contact hours, after gratis hours are completed, gratis prorate to MSA terms.”Holiday Call Back – $879-$937.50 - “Per holiday hour of patient contact hours, after gratis hours are completed, gratis prorate to MSA terms.”Average callback hours: 3.2Schedule/Availability Requirements:Below are the dates listed only since shifts start and end will vary. (please see details section for explanation of shifts)Dec 2-6 - 8a-5pDec 6 - 5p-8aDec 7-8 - 8a-8aDec 16-20 - 8a-5pDec 23-24 - 8a-5pDec 26-27 - 8a-5pMar 3-9Mar 17-30Apr 14-20Apr 28-May 11May 19-June 6June 14-22Details:Approximately 14 shifts per month - As the calendar fills with providers this will be limited. Mon-Friday - 8a-5p - Onsite (clinic or scoping) - HourlyMon-Friday - 5p-7a - Night call Sat-Sun - 7a-7a - 24 hour call. Setting: Call, Clinic, Emergency Room, Inpatient, Outpatient Trauma Level IIIFTE: 1.0Required Procedures: Scoping, EGD, colonoscopy, manometry, flex sigs and 24 hour PH probe.Required job duties: Providers must signs all orders and notes. Locum is responsible to complete all orders that the physicians requests, including pathology orders (results may come in while provider is not on assignment and still must be completed in a timely manner.)  EMR: EPICSupport Staff: MA, NP/PA, RNReason for Coverage: Provider that was in credentialing was cancelled due to being unable to meet a requirement. Travel Preferences (see attachment for specific travel guidelines):·         Preferred Lodging: none. In the event that the CommonSpirit Health preferred hotel is not available, hotel/lodging rates will be reimbursed based on actual expense, up to 1.5 times the current GSA rate for the market. https://www.gsa.gov/travel/plan-book/per-diem-rates·         Air Travel:  $750/round trip cap·         Rental Cars: $65/day all in cap (including taxes and fees) regardless of car class.·         Mileage: IRS Standard Rate·         Please detail any anticipated travel exceptions, for example a dietary restriction necessitating specific lodging situations. Travel exception requests will be denied if this information is not part of the provider presentation.  Please also indicate the city where provider will be traveling from in the travel section of the provider submission.EMR Required Training: Module (learn lessons) – Must be completed prior to virtual EMR training to attend the training.EMR Virtual training & Onsite training – Only able to attend if Modules are completed before training. Virtual and Onsite EMR training will be schedule the morning of providers first day. Credentialing Information:Timeframe: 60 days and 90 days with MP casesCredentialing with other facilities? NoBilling enrollment - Is this position providing services in lieu of an existing enrolled provider for a period of 60 days or less?  NoEmergency Temp Privilges? Yes, can be done in 7-14 Additional Details / Questions Answered by Facility:Can you please advise the average patients per day? 12-16 when scoping and 10-15 when in clinicIs there an Anesthesiologist on site or is conscious sedation required? Yes, there is an anesthesiologist on siteIs there rounding involved? YesWho admits the patients? Is it the locum or does hospitalist handle? I believe the hospitalists handle this.Can we get a list of procedures the locum is expected to do?  Is it solely scopes or are EUS, or ERCP required?  We do scoping and bread and butter GI. ERCP is not performed at the facility.

Gastro Fellowship - RequiredActive DEA - Required for credentialing (site will consider a transferred DEA, however, must keep this DEA for the duration of the assignment, not just for shifts worked.)Site would prefer if candidate can treat IBD (Inflammatory Bowl Disease) patients. - Highly preferred to note. Must acknowledge that candidate is aware that if the provider scopes they will perform 12-16 scopes per day and if working clinic, providers will see 10-15 PPD.- Required to note at submission. Provider must acknowledge they understand the required job duties detailed in the details section - Required to note. Presentation submission requirements includes the information that must be sent over in the presentation packet to have your provider presentation reviewed and presented to the client. Strict adherence to these guidelines will allow for the fastest path to getting your providers accepted. To process the best presentations, Account Coordinators and Account Managers will kickback presentations that do not include the information below (if it has not been discussed already). If you are unable to include something in the presentation, detail why and the plan to get it sent over.
