Required Procedures: Colonoscopy, Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS)
Required Types of Upper GI Endoscopy: Diagnostic, Therapeutic with Biopsy, with Foreign Body Removal

Question Answer Will the locums have APP support? We will provide an inpatient APP To clarify the call ratio of 1:4 would the provider be
working 8 hrs. in the hospital Mon-Fri or Mon-Sun? We want locums to work
24 hour shifts (including carrying the pager at night) Would they be on call everyday? the days they are working inpatient, they would have
unrestricted call in the evening. What type of availability are you looking for(how many
weeks per month/weekends )? We have a provider that is available 1-2
weeks/month We need full coverage.
We prefer the physicians who can cover the most shifts. Can Sparrow provide any patient volumes? 20-22 patient encounters
per day (5 follow ups, 10-12 new patients, 2-4 procedures)

at night – typically
come into the hospital 1 in 7 nights while on call Will there be NP/PA’s there to support in surgical
cases? No – the APPs will not
be doing surgery. Are ERCPs required? Preferred, but not
required Would the start date be April 1st 2024? Start date would be
within the first 2 weeks of April How many surgical cases per day in the
inpatient setting? 2-4 For the 8-hour on-site hospital coverage, are the hours
8a-5p? 8:00 – 4:30
