Description

This is full time and at least until next Summer.

Schedule: 8 hour shifts
No Call - EM physicians do not take call. Trauma team needs to respond in 15 minutes
Trauma level: 3
Total Number of Beds: 38
Annual ER Volume: 44,000
EMR: Meditech Expanse
Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 45 Days

  • What are the physicians
    scheduled hours? 8 hour shifts available 
  • Is the EM responsible for
    codes? Not up on the floor, no.
  • Would admissions be required or
    is there a Hospitalist on staff? Admissions are performed by the
    hospitalist or admitting service
  • Is there APP coverage? Yes.
  • If APP coverage, what is their
    schedule? 8am-10pm in Pittsfield
  • Is this single coverage? No shifts are
    single coverage
  • Average number of patients per
    shift? 12 patients per shift average on an 8 hour shift. Perhaps 18
    patients on average for a 12 hour shift
  • Are there days and nights
    available? Yes.

Submission Requirements

Active MA license, not accepting IMLC due to credentialing - Required BLS, ACLS ATLS - Required

Board certified or board eligible (ABEM, AOBEM) - Required

COVID vaccination - Required
Clean background, no malpractice due to credentialing - Required
