Summary:  CV Anesthesiologist needed to perform anesthesia at CHI St. Vincent Heart Institute working with multiple Heart Surgeons. Bid Due Date: 11/4/24 5pm EST Rate Caps for Submission:Malpractice – Must be included in rates.Orientation – half the hourly/callback rate, kicks in after 8 hours. “Per hour of orientation or training beyond 8 hours”Hourly – $546-$555 - “Per hour, not OT”Holiday – Must be 1.5x the regular rates “Per holiday hour, no OT”Schedule/Availability Requirements:Mon - Fri 7a-3p2025 DATES2/17-2/213/17-3/215/19-5/23 Facility Location: 2 St. Vincent Circle, Little Rock, AR 72205.Setting: Level II Trauma Center, Strong CV programFTE: 1.0-2.0Duties: Performing anesthesia in CV cases, supervising CV CRNA(s), performing TEEs, and placing epidurals.Required Procedures: Facile with TEE and comfortable doing all CV cases, excluding transplants, including Ecmo and thoracic cases.  Able to perform epidurals.EMR: CERNERSupport Staff: CV CRNA team and CV MD team.Reason for Coverage: CV MD leaving position and two others have gone to 75% of FTE.Travel Preferences (see attachment for specific travel guidelines):·         Preferred Lodging: none. In the event that the CommonSpirit Health preferred hotel is not available, hotel/lodging rates will be reimbursed based on actual expense, up to 1.5 times the current GSA rate for the market. https://www.gsa.gov/travel/plan-book/per-diem-rates·         Air Travel:  $750/round trip cap·         Rental Cars: $65/day all in cap (including taxes and fees) regardless of car class.·         Mileage: IRS Standard Rate·         Please detail any anticipated travel exceptions, for example a dietary restriction necessitating specific lodging situations. Travel exception requests will be denied if this information is not part of the provider presentation.  Please also indicate the city where provider will be traveling from in the travel section of the provider submission.Credentialing Information:Timeframe: 2-3 weeksRequirements: Credentialing with other facilities? CHI St. Vincent NorthBilling enrollment - Is this position providing services in lieu of an existing enrolled provider for a period of 60 days or less?: No Additional Details / Questions Answered by Facility:Ratio of MDs to CRNAs on a daily basis? ¾-1Any times during the day/on-call that our provider will be running their own room? Occasionally, if the need arises but someone will take over your supervision of the CRNAs.Any responsibilities for cases aside from cardiac/vascular/thoracic? Possibly, if the CV caseload is down on a certain day.Do we have any idea of typical volumes of cases, including open hearts? Two ORs running most of the day.  Will get case volume and send.Is a cardiac fellowship required? Is a TEE certification required? I don’t believe fellowship is required but TEE certification would be helpful.Open to non-licensed candidates? Can we license/privilege simultaneously? If they have an Arkansas license it would obviously help with expediting the process.Regarding call: What are the start and end times of the weeknight and weekend primary and backup pager calls? Not needed.Is this 100% supervision? YESWhat TEE system is used? Phillips with x8 probes? Siemenscase volume per day in general, and how many of them will be cardiac cases.  : Average case volume is 60 with 8-10 CV Plus TEEs, intubations, a-lines.

unable to include something in the presentation, detail why and the plan to
get it sent over. Account Managers and Account Coordinators will take
this into account as they review the presentation, though they still reserve
the right to redirect it back to the vendor if they deem it necessary.
